The "power-plant" Soy

It is up to 10 millimeters long and 5 millimeters wide, but the release of unimaginable energies. The soybean is about 38% pure plant proteins, each with 15% from carbohydrates and fiber. There are also
plant-own-oil, phosphorus, iron, calcium, magnesium and especially isoflavones. Those vital plant "hormones" that have demonstrated a cholesterol-lowering effect, prevent osteoporosis and protect the women in their critical days and before the menopause symptoms.

Soy contains all the essential amino acids and a number of valuable constituents: flavonoids, phytoestrogens, saponins, phytosterols, tocopherol, sterol, iron, potassium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, and vitamin E and B. This makes soya particularly for vegetarians an important food.

In short, the soybean is through and through meaningful and valuable. For young and old.

The cultivation

The Pannonian region is particularly suitable as the warmest part of
Austria for soybean cultivation. Here is the good, deep soil, which are particularly popular for the picky soybeans. The soybeans are seeded according to the weather in late April / early May. They use only high quality, own seed, so the risk of genetic modification is completely excluded.

Through a specially developed machine, the seed is applied. During the growth of the crop rows should be raked 2-3 times by hand. It will take due care that no foreign plants or wild grasses grow between the soybeans, because this would reduce the quality of soybeans.

Immediately after the harvest, which takes place in September, the soybeans are cleaned and selected in a specially designed facility. Thus, we ensure that you receive only the finest and largest beans.
